Dear guest,

First of all, thank you very much for your reservation. Please read the following important instructions relating to your stay at our Hotel Zala Piran.

Hotel Zala Piran

The hotel is NOT accessible by car. Therefore, we ask our guests to park their vehicle in the Garage House Fornače (address: Fornače 23, 6330 Piran), and head to the city centre on foot or by free bus from the garage house to Tartini Square. Park in the Garage House Fornače, then take the elevator in the middle of each floor to the lowest one, the 1st floor. 50 metres from the exit you will see a bus stop, from which there is a free bus to the centre of Piran (runs every 5-10 minutes). There is about 250m walk from the last station on Tartini Square to our hotel (the address of the hotel is Gregorčičeva ulica 38a, 6330 Piran).

You can get to the city centre by car, but we do not recommend it. It is best if you can use the bus between the garage parking and the centre to transport your luggage. If you have reduced mobility, please let us know in advance and we will be happy to help.

The price of parking for guests of our hotel is EUR 12 per day or EUR 49 per week. The regular price of parking is EUR 22 per day and EUR 90 per week.

We kindly ask you to bring the ticket you will receive upon entering the garage parking to our hotel without any damages so that we can confirm your exit from the Garage House. In case of a crumpled, torn or in any way damaged ticket, we will be forced to charge you EUR 30.

Check-in to the hotel is from 15:00 until 22:00. Early check-in is possible with prior notice and is subject to room availability. Late check-in is possible with prior notice and a surcharge of EUR 30.

Bank transactions and currency exchange can be done at an ATM or at the bank located on the Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg 1, 6330 Piran).

You can buy daily newspapers in the news stand located on the Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg 15, 6330 Piran).

LIFT

For safety reasons, children may only use the lift when accompanied by adults. In an emergency or in case of fire, please do not use the lift.

PETS

Small dogs are welcome in our hotel subject to a fee. Please contact the Front Desk for any support you may need.

AIR CONDITION

Cooling and heating in the hotel are centralised. The room temperature can be controlled using the thermostat in the room. Please contact the Front Desk for help.

HOTEL RESTAURANT AND BAR

The hotel restaurant is open every day from 8:00 to 11:00 in the main season. The hotel bar serving a selection of drinks and snacks is open every day from 12:00 to 22:00 in the main season.

INTERNET

A free Wi-Fi is accessible in all hotel rooms and other hotel areas. Please contact the Front Desk for your username and password to log in.

LOST AND FOUND

Please contact the Front Desk in case of a lost or found object.

LEISURE ACTIVITIES

Would you like to spend your holidays in an active way? Please contact the Front Desk and we will be happy to provide you with a selection of information and help you with organisation.

In case of emergency please immediately contact the Front Desk. In extremely urgent cases you can directly call 112.

PHARMACY, MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

There is a pharmacy on the Tartini Square (Tartinijev trg 4, 6330 Piran). If you need medical assistance, please contact the Front Desk for more information.

PARKING, ENTERING THE CITY

There are payable parking possibilities in the Garage House Fornače (Fornače 23, 6330 Piran). A free-of-charge shuttle bus takes you to the Tartini Square.

PAYMENTS, BANK CARDS

Payments in our hotel can be done in cash or using the following bank cards: Mastercard, Visa, Karanta and Maestro. Please contact the Front Desk for more information.

BEACH

The city beach in the direct vicinity of the hotel is available free of charge to our hotel guest.

DRINKS SERVED IN HOTEL ROOMS

Guests can drink tab water in the hotel unless there are consumption restrictions published at the Front Desk. Please contact the Front Desk for more information.

POST SERVICES, STAMPS

Post services are available at the post office in Piran (Cankarjevo nabrežje 5, 6330 Piran). Please contact the Front Desk for more information.

CHECK IN, CHECK OUT

Check in is possible from 15:00 to 22:00 on the day of arrival. A late check in is possible upon prior notice and subject to a fee. Check out time is 11:00 on the day of departure.

SAFE, RESTRICTION OF LIABILITY, SECURITY

Please store your money and valuables in the safe located in your room. You can find the instruction for use next to the safe. Please empty the safe upon departure and leave it open. The hotel does not assume any liability for money and valuables you keep in the hotel room and other hotel areas. Please close your room when you leave it and carefully keep the entry badge.

LAUNDRY AND IRONING SERVICES
